Juan Pablo Aguad | Founder & Managing Partner
Juan Pablo Aguad is the Founder and Managing Partner of Aguad Capital Partners, where he leads the firm’s U.S. investment activities and works alongside management teams to build durable, high-performing businesses.
Before establishing Aguad Capital Partners, Juan founded and served as CEO of an industrial manufacturing platform that he scaled from inception to more than 180 employees. Under his leadership, the company built a diversified base of national and regional customers and expanded internationally, with exports across Latin America reaching approximately 30% of revenue.
Juan professionalized the organization as it grew, building cross-functional leadership teams and implementing KPI-driven management systems across production, logistics, sales, finance, and quality. He led the company through periods of macroeconomic volatility, supply-chain disruption, and the COVID-19 pandemic while sustaining growth and strengthening operating discipline.
Alongside his operating background, Juan brings experience in M&A advisory and financial analysis across a range of industries. The combination of hands-on operating leadership and transaction experience shapes Aguad Capital Partners' disciplined approach to underwriting, ownership, and long-term value creation.
Juan holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires. He also completed graduate studies in Economics at Universidad de San Andrés, where he received a full-tuition merit scholarship.
His approach to ownership is grounded in long-term alignment, operating partnership, and stewardship: preserving the culture and strengths that made a business successful while investing in its people, capabilities, and next phase of growth.
